This is a great example of combining just the right elements in order to portray the proper message for the appropriate audience through the proper channels. The goal was to promote a family friendly event that was open to all ages and we accomplished this by using music and illustrations that were neither too scary nor too childish. This video was only shared on Facebook, no television, and it gained organic momentum meaning that without spending a single dollar it was shared enough times to give it small dose of “going viral on Facebook”. Within 7 days from the time it was posted on Downtown Odessa’s Facebook page, the video had been shared 335 times, liked 118 times and garnered over 10,000 views helping make BooFest 2015 an all around success!
